DYNAMIC
TESTING
|
| |
|
The Alcatel-Lucent, Engineering Technology Group (ETG)
offers a full complement of vibration, shock, and other dynamic tests to
Commercial, Military, and International requirements in its Dynamic Test
Laboratory.
Dynamic Testing is necessary to ensure products will function
as designed during transportation, installation, and throughout the products
life when installed in its intended environment. Products typically evaluated
include integrated circuits, circuit packs, shelves, indoor type frames and
cabinets, and outdoor type cabinets.
The ETG Dynamic Test Laboratory equipment capabilities are as
follows:
|
|
Electrodynamic and Hydraulic Vibration
Tables Five vibration tables capable of performing Sine, Random,
Synthesized Classical Shock, Random on Random, Sine on Random, and
Transient Capture type tests.
|
|
|
Mechanical Shock Equipment Two vertical
drop tables and a 4 x 4 sled controlled by universal programmers
that are capable of reproducing half sine, saw tooth, and trapezoidal
pulses.
|
|
| |
Handling and Installation Drop
Equipment Capable of performing tests on packaged and
unpackaged equipment up to 4,000 pounds. |
| |
|
|
Vertical Drop Test |
Other capabilities include: fixture
design and fabrication, assistance in data
analysis, test plan and report generation,
scheduling, and support throughout the test
program.
