The Alcatel-Lucent Global Product Compliance Laboratory (GPCL) provides complete product testing to Electromagnetic Compatibility regulations to ensure the electrical equipment is safe and does not interfere with the normal operation of other equipment.

Services



The GPCL offers the following Electromagnetic Compatibility services:
  • AR-4EMC services for designers and manufacturers during development of prototypes or improvement of existing products.
  • Field testing services and assistance.
  • Design consultation by evaluating your product, prototype, or design for potential EMC problems and providing solutions and alternate designs when applicable.

The GPCL test facilities available for EMC compliance testing are as follows:

  • Pre-Compliance – One 3-meter Semi-Anechoic Chamber constructed of steel and lined with ferrite tiles which permit measurements without outside adverse effects and with more accurate internal control. This chamber is designed for preliminary radiated emissions and final immunity testing.
  • Final Compliance – Three 3-meter Semi-Anechoic Chambers constructed of steel and lined with ferrite tiles and RF absorber cones. These chambers are designed for radiated emissions and immunity testing and meet the site attenuation requirements of ANSI C63.4, EN 55022, and field uniformity requirements of EN 61000-4-3/IEC 61000-4-3.
  • Final Compliance – One 5-meter Semi-Anechoic Chamber constructed of steel and lined with ferrite tiles and RF absorber cones. It is designed for radiated emissions and immunity testing and meets the site attenuation requirements of ANSI C63.4, EN 55022, and field uniformity requirements of EN 61000-4-3/IEC 61000-4-3.
  • Final Compliance – One 10-meter Semi-Anechoic Chamber constructed of steel and lined with ferrite tiles and RF absorber cones. It is designed for radiated emissions and immunity testing and meets the site attenuation requirements of ANSI C63.4, EN 55022, and field uniformity requirements of EN 61000-4-3/IEC 61000-4-3.
